Native speaker with more than twenty years of experience teaching English language from Pre-intermediate to Advanced levels in Bologna.

 I come from a wide ranging background in American Culture and the Arts and have lived across the United States from Honolulu to New York. 

My emphasis is on speaking: vocabulary, pronunciation and one-on-one conversation.  Students need to get beyond the classroom so they can move into the cultural world of Social English.

Teaching English has become something of a passion for me. I like to give learners something to talk about in their own language as well as in English. English has become more than just communication, it is now global culture, and most students realize they can’t afford to be excluded.
